What was traditionally the Asian mid-autumn harvest celebration has become a prominent celebration for the entire Adelaide community. Under the full moon on the 15th day of the eighth month on the Lunar calender families and friends gather to celebrate the harvest and eat moon cakes. Performances from local community groups will take the main stage and the evening will end with the traditional Moon Lantern Parade.
