The Art Gallery of SA is giving a big thumbs up to local figure painter, Anna Platten, as part of their South Australian Living Artists Festival. A keen painter and teacher in the city for over three decades, Platten depicts intricately constructed imaginary worlds and complex dream-like matrix that explore the passing of youth and beauty, motherhood and the ever changing dynamic of human relationships.
