Ennio Morricone Film Retrospective
Italian composer Ennio Morricone – famous for writing the soundtrack to Sergio Leone’s most notable spaghetti westerns and music for more than 400 movies – is coming to town. To celebrate, Bigpond Adelaide Film Festival and Adelaide Festival are showing four of the most famous and influential films with Morricone scores: Sergio Leone’s The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Once Upon A Time in the West, Guiseppe Tornatore’s Cinema Paradiso and Brian De Palma’s The Untouchables.
Catch the man himself, in conversation with David Stratton, ahead of the screening of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly at Piccadilly Cinema. Session times and locations vary, check the Adelaide Festival website for details.
