The light and tasty Hainanese style steamed chicken at Ricky’s comes with extremely tender chicken breast in a light soy sauce, mild chicken rice, a salty broth with fried onions and shallots, and a fluorescent orange chilli sauce and luminous green sauce of unclear origins. It is cheap, plentiful neatly sidesteps any guilt associated with food court dining.
