Time Out Adelaide

Think globally, eat locally: Stirling's ethical eatery has the produce and cuisine to match its fine principles

A wine bar, tapas bar and restaurant at the entrance to the Adelaide Hills in Stirling, the Locavore prides itself on using only produce from within a 160km radius of the venue. Family farmed, organic and fairtrade are its watchwords. There are ten daily specials, such as roasted garfish, Barossa free range chicken scallopine, 12-hour Fleurieu lamb rump or pot roasted Coorong Angus beef.
