The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is the mack daddy of venues in South Australia. It's the place where one might expect to see laser displays, pyrotechnics and acrobatic back up dancers. Opened in 1991 with a 12,000 person capacity, the building of the AEC meant that international acts and touring events finally had a place to call home in Adelaide and ever since it has been the venue where the big names are to be found.
