Seriously, our bartender tells us, one table waited for three hours for a plate of gyoza. And that’s why you’ll be happy to know about Glass. At first glance, you might not be instantly dazzled by the interiors but dig a little deeper because there’s gold to be found within the pages of the cocktail list. Try a Corpse Reviver No 2 if it’s been a hard few days - that mix of lillet blanc, gin, Cointreau, lime juice and pastis are sure to bring you back from the dead. Or go the cocktail special of rum and gin (together at last!) making friends in a giant tiki mug. It strangely works. And check out the fish tank in the corner filled with odd pieces of glassware - it’s the Davy Jones’ locker of cocktail ware. It’s great, friendly service at Glass where they’re happy to make you pretty much anything you care to ask for. All you’ve gotta do is holla.
