Time Out Sydney is seeking an ambitious Editor to take the reins of the Time Out website, monthly magazine and complete digital output.
The role requires the talents of a resident of Sydney who is an accomplished writer and sub editor, preferably with a background in arts or entertainment journalism. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record as a supplier and manager of digital content, and in the management of editorial staff.
The Editor role is for a self-motivated, hard-working multi-tasker who is as comfortable brainstorming ideas and writing features as they are grappling with internet software and managing budgets. Achieving online page impression targets is a KPI of this position.
Only candidates with more than five years’ experience in journalism and two years in a senior editorial position will be considered. Experience with Adobe InDesign is an advantage for this role. Non-residents of Australia need not apply.
