Australian pianist to perform Vine and Beethoven for the QYS
The second event in the Queensland Youth Symphony's 2012 series will feature pianist Jayson Gillham, who will play 'The Emperor' by Australian composer Carl Vine, Prokofiev' Symphony No. 7 and Beethoven's Piano Concerto #5. Also on display will be Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky/Ravel, a musical depiction of ten Russian paintings.
