Classic, classical ballet
For 37 years now, the Hamburg Ballet artistic director John Neumeier has conducted an annual gala in honour of and homage to his idol, Russia's Vaslav Nijinsky. In town for the Brisbane Festival, this full-length ballet performance will attempt to recreate some of the powerful leaps and gifted dancing Nijinsky is known for.
