Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones are coming to Australia
Two legends of the silver screen are coming to Brisbane to perform in Alfred Uhry’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Driving Miss Daisy.
Angela Lansbury (Gaslight, The Manchurian Candidate, Murder She Wrote) and James Earl Jones (the voice of Darth Vader, Dr Strangelove, Field of Dreams) will play the roles incarnated in the movie of Driving Miss Daisy by Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman.
The story of a Southern matriarch and her lengthy friendship with her chauffeur is a poignant and compelling journey through decades of change in the US.
The season is only three weeks so you’ll want to be considerably faster than an old lady out for a Sunday drive.
Tickets go on sale August 13.
