The time has come for Brunswick to be overtaken by the Sydney Road Street Party. Running since 1989, the the celebration of cultural diversity is one of the largest street-based celebrations in the country and runs as part of the Brunswick Music Festival. The City of Moreland’s biggest cultural event every year, the party fills the suburb with music, food, maker stalls, dance, games and more.
Always free and always full of cultural energy and diversity, the street party will this year host the Nebula stage, programmed by Arts Access Victoria. The Nebula stage is a portable, accessible art space with multiple layout options that has been travelling all over the state, providing artists of all abilities with a platform from which to present their art in a way they previously were unable to. At the Sydney Road Street Party, the stage will feature some of the country’s best known bands whose members live with disability.
