Oz Harvest (Australia’s leading food rescue group) and the United Nations Environment Program are getting together and, with their powers combined, are fighting the global food crisis. The event is being held to raise awareness and educate Australians on food wasting and the $10 billion worth of food that we are throwing away yearly. Support the hard work of these volunteers and head down to Federation Square to try a free meal made from produce that would usually go to waste.
