Maria Popova, the clever lady behind the human-powered discovery engine Brain Pickings will discuss her hugely popular blog at the Melbourne Writers Festival. Her sessions Maria Popova: Brain Pickings and Why I Read will provide insight into her curious mind.

In her second talk – Why I Read – Popova is joined by the Age's literary editor Jason Steger and television presenter Faustina Agolley to discuss the books that have inspired her along the way.
