Untangling the knot of child abuse

Adults Surviving Child Abuse (ASCA) are continuing their hard work raising awareness for the estimated 5 million Australian survivors of childhood trauma. Blue Knot Day is their national day of awareness, which kicks off a week of events and social activities to rally funds for their prevention work. This year's focus is supporting the education and training of frontline practitioners.

Time Out chatted to ASCA president Cathy Kezelman about the importance of opening up awareness through dialogue at last year's Blue Knot Day. This year the date to remember is October 27. There's still time to get involved.
