Time Out Melbourne

It's like Halloween on steroids

If you're a fan of anything paranormal; slasher films; grizzly comics and schlocky TV, break out the special effects makeup: this is your moment.

Nightmares will come to life at the Melbourne Showgrounds, where fans of the spooky genre can watch guest panels of local and international experts, buy Halloween masks and props, attend a zombie rom-com show, meet real-life paranormal investigators and makeup artists. British horror fiction great Ramsey Campbell is the guest of horror, and fans who grab the Platinum package will get to meet and be photographed with the author. Also appearing will be Mark Patton, star of Nightmare on Elm Street 2.

Feel free to dress up as a bloody zombie or Ghostbuster and join in the Cosplay competition.

Please note venue change to the Cellars.
