Come and celebrate the 'Power of Flight' at the 2013 Australian International Airshow. On the ground you can catch a showcase of amazing vintage, commercial and military aircraft and up in the sky there will be plenty of thrilling aerial displays, including the daring Wingwalkers (yep, that's people doing fancy tricks and formations on the wings of a plane). You'll also have the chance to meet the pilots and crew behind the winged beasts.

Aviation fans will be stoked to hear that the US Air Force is bringing along its top of the line fighter jet, the F-22 Raptor, to showcase the jet's first Australian flight display ever. Regarded as America’s premier fighter, the incredibly manoeuvrable stealth jet was displayed here in 2011 and will now be given the chance to show us what it’s got. If you were in two minds about checking out the Airshow this year, this should be all the persuasion you need.
