Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

An open discussion delving into the digital democracy

Social media has radically transformed the way we interact, debate and voice our opinions. You cab tweet when you're fired up about something, create a kick-starter campaign when you've got an idea, like your favourite politician on Facebook and everything in between. This lively discussion will be prodding the beast that is social media, to question the relevance of all these voices in society.

Panellists include Time Out 30 Under 30 star and national director of GetUp Sam McLean, radio host Jon Faine, journalist Paddy Manning and academic Peter Chen. This event is free, but places are limited so please register.
