Como House gets a French makeover

Calling all Francophile Melburnians – a French pop-up village is set to take over the historic Como House and Gardens. You can expect market stalls of French linens, cheese, bonbons, breads, jams, wine, chocolate, and collectables, plus you can learn to open a bottle of Champagne with a sword thanks to the Champagne Dame. French executive pastry chef Monsieur Pierrick Boyer will be teaching a macaron and croquembouche class in the original 1800s kitchen of the historic house, and there will be cocktail demonstrations, snail eating contests, roaming entertainment and petanque.
