Fed Square gets into the Christmas spirit with a month long celebration

Spirit of the Square will be bringing a host of activities that will get even the grinchiest Melburnian in the Christmas spirit.

From December 1 the Square will see public art work In the Pines installed, which features more than 100 Christmas trees decorated by urban artists. Family Portraits will also let families hop among the trees every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm for some kooky family photos. After you've explored the quirky trees keep your ears open for Community Choirs who will be stepping in for free performances daily.

The team from the Freeplay Independent Gaming Festival will be offering Big Screen Gaming every Monday from 5-9pm. A one-off foodie Christmas Market will be popping up December 14 and 16. The Outdoor Cinema will be screening classic Christmas films on weekends at 6.30pm and Orphan’s Christmas will cap off celebrations with a Christmas movie marathon on Christmas Day.
