Can singing change your brain? Does sound have a shape? All these questions and more will be pondered at the next TEDxMelbourne

TEDxMelbourne is returning for a day of thought provoking talks from inspiring speakers. This time round TEDxMelbourne will be exploring the idea that the unseen is not necessarily unknown. Wow, just ponder that for a second... Now that you have – and you're a little baffled but curious, yes? – you will want to make sure you get along to the event, which will be hosted by past TEDxMelbourne speaker and renowned MC Zara Swindells-Grose. She will be joined by a panel of informed speakers, including Tania de Jong – a leading Australian soprano, social entrepreneur and creativity and innovation catalyst. She founded Creativity Australia and Creative Universe and works with disadvantaged communities through the ‘With One Voice’ choir social inclusion programs. For good measure, there will be a performance by legendary guitarist Tommy Emmanuel.

Until midnight, Fri Nov 7, Time Out readers get a $15 discount on tickets. Use code: TOunseen for discount.
