Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Using art for ammo, ARTillery is an annual arts festival promoting human rights through poetry, music and movement. Amnesty International are teeming up with artists from across the country to put on a full week of events at Loop and Golden Glory studio in Carlton, with art workshops, film screenings, poetry slams and parties.

Keep your eyes peeled in the weeks leading up, as the Amnesty team scatter origami cranes around Melbourne in support of Hakamada Iwao, the longest serving prisoner on death row. Each event over the week will support a different Amnesty campaign, exploring ways art can make a change.
