Clean away all your winter cobwebs the way the Japanese do – communally and stark naked. This traditional Japanese bath house requires you to take off your shoes at the door and then remove all clothes before you hop into the hot, communal bath (one for each gender) and relax. Afterwards you can sip on sake in the relaxation room or have a shiatsu treatment.

Go natural baby and have some fun in the sun sans bathers. These beaches are generally harder to find than most but Sunnyside North tends to be a friendly and popular one to try. Just make sure you’ve gone north enough so that you don’t get weird looks when you start stripping off. A piece of advice: apply sunscreen EVERYWHERE.
