For the first time since the 1950s, Melbourne’s General Post Office is being lit up in a fantastic permanent light display. Showing off its brand spankin’ new restorations, the majestic building will radiate over Bourke Street Mall every night of the week with thousands of coloured LEDs mixing to create an Australian first kaleidoscopic show. And don’t worry, the project is entirely green-friendly and only uses as much power as 15 household downlights. Cool huh.
