Out of the galleries and into Hobsons Bay

This April, Hobsons Bay will play host again to Art in Public Places. The month-long program will feature more than 60 artists displaying their work in local businesses (cafés, pubs, stores). For ten years, the goal of Art in Public Places has been to expose residents to art where they do not typically expect it, while providing possible sale opportunities for the artists themselves. In addition to these art displays, the people of the western region can look forward to various public and professional events being held alongside the public art including Busk a Move (Apr 26-27), Clear Your Conscience and Paint the Gardens (Sun Apr 13).
