Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

At the peak of the Beatles’ fame, Robert Whitaker was assigned to be the photographer who accompanied the band on their 1964 visit to Melbourne. His rare signed photographs depict the extraordinary three-year journey of the band from behind the scenes, culminating with the famous 1966 ‘Butcher’s sleeve’ shot of the Beatles draped in raw meat and doll parts. Buy one as a collector's piece if you fancy it.
