Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

You may know Father Bob Maguire because he’s on Triple J and you may know the Orbweavers for the same reason, but what you need to know is that they will both be at the NGV for Friday Nights at Italian Masterpieces. Father Bob will be giving an address and the Orbweavers will be doing their thing and playing some thoughtful, dark folk tunes.

The evening will also feature a DJ set from Emma Peel, an eclectic PBS host with a love of vinyl and go-go grooves, and what better way to compliment such a rich collection of Italian art? Friday Nights at the NGV are about getting likeminded music and art loving individuals together for solid evening of creative enjoyment. Italian Masterpieces will be showing until the end of August and this event is just the fifth of ten Friday Nights. So grab a glass of wine, switch on your art brain and have a lovely evening.
