Melbourne-based artist Daniel Agdag works with a new format in his The Principles of Aerodynamics exhibition. The installation artist will work entirely within the medium of cardboard, crafting impossibly intricate forms in monochrome. His latest works deal with the notion of flight as a means of escape and are mostly encased in hand blown glass domes, highlighting the fragility of escapist dreams. Agdag has almost always created these sculptures out of cardboard but has elevated his skills with this latest series of fragile objects that are sure to fascinate.
