Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Conceived in artist Molly Crabapple's Brooklyn apartment in 2005, Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art school has evolved into an international hit as an absurdist get together. The alternative drawing movement has enjoyed longevity in Melbourne and it's making a return this year with a Twilight Zone-inspired surgery/burlesque theme. Starring Melbourne-based performer Lola Ramone, the show invites experienced artistes and rookie pen jockeys alike to come and try their hand at a surreal blend of atomic age burlesque, self-expression and plain, honest fun.
