A sculptor reimagines Mawson's Antarctica
Like a human bowerbird, Linde Ivimey constructs her sculptures from bones, feathers, hessian, washing machine lint and whatever else she finds on her many travels.
Returning from her most recent trip to the Antarctic, the celebrated sculptor presents 'Leave No Bone Unturned': an exhibition of works inspired by explorer Douglas Mawson and his ill-fated expedition to the South Pole over a century ago.
Equal parts delightful and confronting, the exhibition presents a personal journey through the wilderness of one of Australia’s most exciting creative imaginations.
