Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Patrick Dougherty's Stickwork will be displayed in Federation Square during their 10th birthday celebrations. The work will be created using over five tonnes of willow tree saplings and sticks, as well as eucalypt saplings. In a nod towards environmental sustainability, the sculpture has no joins, giving off the appearance of being natural, rather than built. This is a piece that really has to be physically seen, to gain the full impact and intricacy of the work.
