Bea Maddock's exponential career will be showcased at the NGV from February through to July. If you're not familiar with her work, it includes photo-etching and mass-media imagery from the '60s and '70s, as well as work that explores Australia's Indigenous history. The exhibition will include prints spanning her entire career, as well as drawings, artist books and paintings. The free exhibition also includes 20 metres – yes, you read that correctly! – of her famous Terra Spiritus, a normally 40-metre panoramic drawing of Tasmania's costal profile. It'd be worth the visit just to see that we think!
