Tacita Dean's 11-minute silent movie, 'FILM', pays tribute to the history and legacy of movie technology

UK artist Tacita Dean’s 11-minute silent movie 'FILM' will be showing at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA). The 2011 short film was a Unilever Series commission, originally shown in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall. The large-scale installation, which has never been seen outside of the UK, pays tribute to the history and legacy of movie technology, particularly those techniques long forgotten.
