Returning every Sunday in Janurary as part of Melbourne Now, Drop-By Drawings are hosted by the Ian Potter Centre. The free drawing sessions run by local artists are great for all ages and drawers (or non-drawers). You don't have to be the next Da Vinci to participate, everyone is welcome to attend the sessions, and materials are all provided, but personal pencils and sketch pads (no larger than A3) are allowed.

Minna Gilligan
The first Drop-By Drawing host, Minna Gilligan is a Melbourne-based artist works primarily with drawing, painting and collage and is also an illustrator for Rookie Magazine, Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal and Asos. Sunday January 8

Moya McKenna
A somewhat untraditional still-life painter, Moya McKenna uses objects around her to both create and inspire her works. Sunday January 12

Jess Johnson
Melbourne-based New Zealand artist Jess Johnson has exhibited all around the country. Known for her drawings, installations and posters, Johnson also founded her own gallery (Hell Gallery), which was invited to participate in 2010 Melbourne Art Fair. Sunday January 19

Tim Fleming
The final Drop-by Drawing session, will be hosted by Tim Fleming, a Melbourne-based artist whose works involve media installation, video, painting and multifunctional furniture.  Sunday January 26
