Time Out Melbourne

The hotel famous for its 24/7 bottle shop has had a refresh

A recent revamp has seen the Railway Hotel in Windsor turn over a new leaf, sporting sparkling interiors and a kitchen that draws upon produce from the owner’s Strathbogie farm. Take your pick of three drinking and dining spaces: the relaxed Public Bar, sun-blessed Deck and chi-chi Highline restaurant, where young-gun chef Simon Tarlington plates up Instagram-worthy fare. The 700-strong wine list is also worth a nudge.
