The Basement is located within a magnificent Gothic heritage listed building located in the heart of the CBD. The basement, which has been used as everything from the living quarters of the Nuns of the St Augustine Church to the offices of the original Victorian government’s Department of Transport, is now one of Melbourne’s most captivating venues.
