On May 25, Time Out Melbourne takes over resident 'tease' venue Red Bennies for The Venus vs Mars Burlesque Extravaganza.

Featuring a delectable mix of the gods and goddesses of burlesque trying to out-titillate each other, with additional performances by the Jelly Tub Rollers and Dj Knave Knixx, the battle of the sexes has never looked so inviting.

If that isn't enough for you, the venue will literally be spilling over with incredible prizes from the likes of Sailor Jerry, Panache, Bottoms Up and Belle Chasse among others.

So get into it, you greedy little gluttons.

Venus

Dolores Daiquiri
	Dolores Daiquiri has been at the forefront of the burlesque revival in Australia for over 10 years and has been captivating audiences with her glamorous brand of classic tease‚ since then. Dolores started her career as co-founder and group member of Melbourne's first burlesque troupe and in 2009 went solo. Her acts are not only seductive, classic, traditional and glamorous, they are dripping with vintage flair and sophistication of a high standard. Audiences can be assured that a performance by Dolores is both spectacular and entertaining! Dolores prides herself in designing quality burlesque acts which she has performed in a myriad of showcases and high-end events over the years. Toured Paris, London & Australia. Producer and co-founder of the Australian Burlesque Festival.
Rosy Rabbit
	Australia's darling of burlesque, Rosy Rabbit, has been teasing audiences across the country since 2006, when she leapt on to the stage with a head full of dreams and taste for the sweet life! A shining star in the burlesque revival Rosy has performed at many of Australia‚s premier burlesque and subculture events, music festivals and regular showcases. She also toured North America and Canada in 2009 and was selected to perform at the 2010 London Burlesque Week. Producer and co-founder of the Australian Burlesque Festival.
Evie Red
	Born formally as Evelyn Rouge, this small time country girl has evolved into a burlesque performer. Now known as Evie Red, she is an actress, ballerina, storyteller and dancer. This is one hoochie coochie, hotsy-totsy sugar mama! Channelling the vintage glamour of past icons such as Josephine Baker, Red exudes opulence, style and grace peppered with some frantic crazy dancing! Classically trained as a Cecchitti ballet dancer, Evie Red has performed at many private and public events as both a soloist and troupe. Most notably performances include Monties Dames at Monties and as a Majestic Nymph at Red Bennies for the NYE2011 Dionysia Show. Evie Red has trained extensively with industry legends in Australian Burlesque, such as Kelly Ann Doll, Vesper White and Mama Natalia.

Mars

Jay Robinson
	Burlesque provocateur, Jay Robinson's sexy shows give the audience a taste of the action, literally. His tasty art is somewhere between hallucination and orgasm. Rest assured, his performance delight audiences of any emotional age or sexuality. Jay's a graduate of both the Dance and Acting schools at the Adelaide Centre of Performing Arts and is a regular performer at the best burlesque bars and music events nationally.
Raven
	The Black Prince of Burlesque was just recently crowned the 2012 "Mr Burlesque Australia" by his peers nationally. Raven is a student at the National Institute for Circus Arts (NICA) where he is in third year, as well as being one of Melbourne's most innovative and prolific performers. His dark and smokey style having earned him places in some of the best known Burlesque Noir companies, like Gorelesque, Anything Goes Cabaret, Nelli Scarlett and Atrocity.
Dan Power
	A coach at the National Institute for Circus Arts (NICA), Dan Power has performed with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas and regularly tours the globe as part of major productions. One of the best aerialists in the World, he choreographed the opening of the 2009 Asia Pacific Outgames and continues to raise the bar of Circus Arts in Australia. His special blend of aerial performance and burlesque has been one of the pioneer efforts of Cirlesque.
