With over 150 performances, the 4th annual Melbourne Cabaret Festival is set to unleash 12 days of vaudeville, comedy cabaret and musical theatre featuring the best of local and international acts.
It all starts on 26 June at the Palais Theatre, with founding member of the Supremes, Mary Wilson, headlining the opening night alongside international cabaret stars Joey Arias, David Pomeranz and composer Adam Guettel.
See Spanky in Dead Bitches, or if you're more into the musical side of things, the man who shone in his season at the Perth and Adelaide Fringe Festivals is presenting Fleetwood Mac: Rumours to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the album.
For all those Oprah Show mourners, catch Rachel Dunham in the cabaret Oprahfication for some talk-show host action or for a less therapeutic session, have some fun with Sally Bourne and Mark Jones in their premiere performance of Sitting With the Fat Man – the Songs of Randy Newman.
Music fans can bask in the performances of Michaela Burger's take on Edith Piaf's intimate songs, or have some fun with Naomi Price taking on Adele in Rumour Has It: Sixty Minutes Inside Adele.
It comes to a close on 7 July with a night to celebrate the best in cabaret while also fundraising for the Australian Marriage Equality organisation in support of equal marriage rights.
