DJ curriculum vitae: Courtney Clarke aka CC:DISCO!

CC:DISCO! is all about swaying to the sweet sound of Tears For Fears on the D-floor

Disco DJ I spin D.I.S.C.O. in all its forms. I started as a radio announcer at 15 and by the age of 18 it was time to take it to the D-floor. I love disco because it makes people smile (no one likes a trance face expression right?) and they often don't know they like disco/house until they start to dance to it. It's infectious and a great way to meet men... ladies.

Best Disco Moments of 2011 Nearly getting into a girl fight over Tensnake during a set in India, and having a club owner in Toronto request Level 42 (LEGEND, best request ever). Dancing with Azari & III while Prince Language played his remix of their song at a private houseparty at 5am in Canada. 2011 was A+.

Career Highlights Supporting Spinderella from Salt-N-Pepa, playing Toronto Pride Festival 2011, sweating my face off and having kids call me "Miss DJ" in India. And its always a highlight when I can get away with playing 'Father Figure' by George Michael on a D-floor. It's a make or break song.

D is for Disco Hear sweet-as-sugar disco jams on my Kiss FM show, D is for Disco. It's CC style, week-saving disco every Monday 9–10.30am. Check out www.ccdisco.com for upcoming gigs.
