Time Out Melbourne

Midnite Sleaze's Duane Buriani-Gennai and Wayne Smith are Melbourne's own makers of bass-bending tracks and musical mayhem

It all started when...
We started DJing individually around 10 years ago. We got together about five years ago to start Midnite Sleaze and haven’t looked back since.

Number of gigs played:
We've played too many to remember! We usually play every week and have been doing so for the past couple of years.

Biggest crowd:
We played to about 4,000 people at Stereosonic.

When not Djing:
We both work in the studio and run a record label called Bamboo Music.

Get an earful on the wireless:
We host a weekly radio show on Kiss FM called Futurebomb. Saturdays 7.30pm.

Shared a stage with:
Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, M.A.N.D.Y., Hardwell, Prok & Fitch, DJ Heather and Stacey Pullen.

Catch us at:
Monthly residency at the Proper Kollective, Onesixone. Friday August 31, 10pm-late, $20.
