The Darkbeat crew – leaders of Melbourne’s underground dance music scene – are taking over Motel to bring you international club crew Flying Circus' first Melbourne appearance. Chill out on the terrace with free BBQ food and, of course, an impressive lineup of international and local DJs including Italy's Audiofly and German artists Tiefschwarz and Alex Niggeman. Happy Easter indeed. South Melbourne.

Presumably chosen for their refusal to take themselves too seriously, support acts include nine-piece bizarro party starters Sex on Toast as well as local favourites Sugar Fed Leopards and Better than the Wizards. Carlton.
The latest project from such mind-bendingly hectic clubs as Honkytonks, Third Class, Sorry Grandma! and Survivor! is fast becoming one of Melbourne’s hottest late-night tickets. Just a month after opening, Power Station – the Saturday rave night at Brown Alley – is putting on a supercharged Easter Sunday night. Headlining the event is Cologne’s DJ Barnt – creator of hypnotic, minimal-yet-danceable techno. UK three-piece DJ/live act/label Paranoid London will bring their brand of acid house with live vocals. Melbourne.
Bliss out with your fellow Earth children at this three-day Easter bush doof in the lush settings of a national park. Stripped back, intimate, relaxed: this is exactly how we think an Easter Monday should be spent. Jazz Party embodies an early rock'n'roll attitude to jazz. No stage, no fancy compositions, just a piano, a basic band structure and killer musicians. Carlton.
