Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

The 11-day celebration of Indian cinema is back. This year it brings the breezy romance The Lunch Box, the Romeo and Juliet retelling Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, philosophical drama The Ship of Theseus, as well as special events and masterclasses. The Indian Film Festival Awards will also be launched, judged by a panel of Australian and Indian film legends. Best film, Best Performance, Best Director, Best Independent Film and the People’s Choice Award will be announced at a red carpet event 2 May. Local talent from Melbourne will be in attendance, too. Hurrah, Bollywood!
