A musical narrative of the Vilna Ghetto

Backlot will be hosting a special run of this Australian documentary, which recognises the music and stories from the capital of Lithuania during the Holocaust.

Directed by Rohan Spong, The Songs They Sang explores the people and music inside the Jewish Ghetto at Vilna, telling a story of courage in the face of systematic persecution and extermination by the Nazis.
