This June at the Astor Theatre, hundreds of Aussie Achievers will be out and about to celebrate cult classic film The Big Lebowski – a Coen brothers film from 1998. After a sell-out bash in Sydney, Melbourne is the next Aussie city to get this unique event.

You've seen it, right? If not, Jeff Lebowski (played by Jeff Bridges) is known as 'The Dude'. He and his friend Walter (played by John Goodman) try to cope with a ruined rug, a case of mistaken identity and a debt that neither of them knows anything about. Initially a box-office flop, its following has grown year after year and its success is now celebrated worldwide.

With costume competitions, live music, trivia and the film screening, Lebowski Bash will be the place for fans of this oddball American film. After the screening, there will be a VIP after party, with plenty of White Russians to be drunk and other fans to meet. "One Jesus per group, please."

The Lebowski White Russian

50ml Vodka
20ml Kahlua
30ml Fresh Cream or Milk

Pour Kahlua and Vodka into an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Pour fresh cream or milk on top and stir slowly.
