The long-awaited prequel to Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy will land on Boxing Day, and IMAX is showing it in resplendant, ginormous 3D. The first of two films adapting Tolkien's masterpiece, The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey tells the story of young Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who is sent on a mysterious quest by the illusive Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellan). IMAX will screen the film in 3D, so you can see Martin Freeman's knobbly hobbit feet up-close, personal and jumping out at you!
