Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

See the exclamation-point-happy documentary about Melbourne's recent boom in comic book creators for free in Experimedia's 'Outside In' cinema at the State Library. (You get deckchairs, but you also get a roof.)

The film, directed by Daniel Hayward and Bernard Caleo, runs for a little over an hour and features the works of many Melbourne-based artists. The interviews conducted within the documentary include one with the Academy Award winning creator of The lost thing, Shaun Tan. So, mosey on down (after you’ve made a booking, that is) with some snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages, settle into a deckchair and uncover the comic-book culture that is flourishing here in Melbourne.
