St Kilda Film Festival is returning for its 30th anniversary, making it Australia’s largest and longest running short film festival.
The top 100 films submitted each year get a gurnsey up on the big screen and the best of the best wins $10,000.
Special events this year include a Film Buff’s Trivia Night hosted by Bob Franklin and SoundKILDA, Australia’s only dedicated music video competition.
This year the festival will extend its programme with ten days of awesome shorts and a brand new international partnership with the prestigious SXSW Festival, bringing the best new shorts from Texas for screenings.
The event takes place at the Palais Theatre, the Astor, Forum Hall and St Kilda Town Hall.
