Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Director Rodney Ascher has made a film outlining the various hidden meanings that fans have discovered in Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 horror opus The Shining. Ascher has used the slowest of slo-mos and other techniques to tauntingly build extreme suspense and release the madness within. You will second-guess every film you’ve ever watched after seeing this insanely entertaining documentary, in which every object used in The Shining holds more meanings than you can imagine. Film and food tickets are also available.
