Southgate Complex has brought the outdoor cinema experience undercover this summer for that unpredictable Melbourne weather – bring a date for a free weekday movie as you relax in a deckchair under the open atrium and alternate between the stars and the film... Many of the restaurants are offering pre-movie meals in the complex, so hit up one of their offers just before the movie starts at dusk or take up some chow from the food court. Also, this is Melbourne’s only silent cinema, so grab a set of headphones and don’t worry about anybody hearing your heavy breathing.
