That saucy minx and current reigning Queen of Burlesque, Imogen Kelly, is back in Melbourne after her recent Midsumma show, Bent Burlesque, but this time she’s going solo. Herstory is like a raunchy TARDIS trip, as Imogen visits famous women throughout time. From Elizabeth I (let’s wait and see her burlesque treatment of this ‘Virgin Queen’) and Marie Antoinette to more recent glamourpusses Marlene Dietrich and Princess Diana, no one is safe. There’ll be stories, dance, even puppetry and short films, but rest assured, you’ll never regard these famous women the same way again. Oh, and you get a late night supper as well. Perfect.
